The Parlour

This has a flagged floor, comfy traditional sofa & chairs and a functioning wood burner. The decor reflects a hundred and twenty one years in the present owner’s family through furniture, pictures, photographs and books.

TV and Video are the only concessions to the 21st century.

Traditional Farmhouse Kitchen

This Self Caterering Accommodation has a Large, traditional farmhouse kitchen with flagstone floor – cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Though centrally heated throughout, the kitchen also has a cast iron fire and an oak fireplace which was made from trees on the farm.

The Best Bedroom

This is our largest room, furnished with Edwardian furniture and pictures including a cast iron fireplace. It also has a hand made quilt and a hand embroidered picture.

The rocking chair is in here as the room was once shared by parents and children.

The Edwardian Bedroom

This has genuine Edwardian furniture, traditional furnishings, welsh wool bed covers and a selection of pictures and prints that reflect a snapshot of the lives of previous occupants

The Victorian Bedroom

Furniture here dates from 1900 to 1930 including a fine cast iron fireplace with flower paintings on glass above the mantelshelf.

A lithograph in this room dates from about 1870. Wherever possible we still use the original linen that belongs to the house.

The Servant Boy’s Room

The cast iron bed dates from around 1860. Simpler, plainer furniture, though comfortable, will always be found at the back of the house.
